William Soppitt is a non-award winning author of contemporary fiction with a dash of science fiction.

Living in Shrewsbury, England, with his wife and children, he fills his spare time writing and reading original fiction.

Having experienced a variety of jobs, including the armed forces, he now works in the hospitality industry in his home town.

A keen reader of all genres, his stories attempt to capture the human element of the many scenarios dreamt up by him with an emphasis on originality.

'Unknown Object' a story of betrayal, lost hope and self-doubt in the midst of an earth changing event, was his first foray into self-publishing.
