Something Else

2026 Next Generation Indie Book Awards Finalist

A deeply human memoir without the cliché.

What happens when the life you built no longer feels like your own? After years of living through routine, heartbreak, loss, and silent emotional exhaustion, Lukas finds himself pulled into a journey that slowly changes the way he sees love, connection, coincidence, and even himself.

What begins with music at Tomorrowland becomes a deeply personal search for meaning through unexpected encounters, Malta sunsets, Sicily nights, soul-stirring conversations, and moments that feel too perfectly timed to explain away. Something Else is not a story about having the answers. It is a story about falling apart quietly… and learning that sometimes the breaking is what allows us to finally see ourselves clearly.

Written with honesty, vulnerability and emotional depth, this memoir explores:
• heartbreak and healing.
• synchronicity and transformation.
• friendship and human connection.
• the tension between logic and intuition.
• the quiet courage it takes to begin again.
• the magic of saying "yes" to the unknown.

Unlock the silent truths to seeing yourself, and the past, with entirely new eyes while rediscovering the strength you thought was long gone. For anyone who feel deeply and has ever questioned their path, their timing, or their worth.
