Printer's corrected proofs. 35 leaves, printed rectos only, lacking pp. [1] (half-title) and [3] (copyright page) but including an extra title-page; Alan Anderson's manuscript corrections on 31 pages (mostly of pagination). The published edition was limited to 145 numbered copies (120 in mustard-yellow wrappers, 25 on special paper and in patterned wrappers). "The range of Gray's originals," writes Ian Fletcher, "was alarming and unusual, but he appears nonetheless to have depended heavily on anthologies and spicilegia."
