Rachel Pollack's most notable work features elements of magical realism in a futuristic feminist America pervaded by magic and ritual. A later US edition, originally published in 1988. The plot was drawn on the author's knowledge on divinatory tarot and spirituality. Complete with the original unclipped dust wrapper with striking illustrations designed by Wayne Barlowe. In the original publisher's quarter cloth binding. Externally lovely. The dust wrapper is unclipped and excellent. Internally, firmly bound. The pages are bright and clean. Fine.
