Unsent Letters: Writing As a Way to Resolve and Renew

Writing letters can provide emotional healing and personal growth. This book shows readers how to use the letter-writing form to resolve personal issues and renew spirit. Sending these letters is optional, which enables readers to express their issues more openly and honestly than they would otherwise. The benefits remain just as powerful either way.

Lauren Smith explains the value of letter writing, then offers advice, writing prompts and sample letters to help readers start writing and dealing with the feelings expressed. Smith also focuses on specific types of letters, showing readers how to confess love, say good-bye, ask for help, seek forgiveness or express anger.

With this book, readers will learn how to bring closure to unresolved issues and gain keener insights into their thoughts, feelings and memories.
