Facsimile of Schon's 1542 instructional book on proportion and geometry, illustrated with his woodblock prints. [64] unnumbered pages. Some several Illustrations on glossy stock tipped in, but by and large pages are reproduced as originally printed with woodcut diagrams and scenes faitfully reproduced. Soundly bound in original light brown paper covered boards with red and black printed title label to upper board. Mild nicking to paper boards at spine ends. Contents printed on laid paper, slightly toned. Introduction by Leo Baer. 1936 Invoice/receipt for the book's sale by a Berlin dealer for a price of 4 marks 20. Solid clean copy. Uncommon . VG.
