Upside Down Poems

UPSIDE DOWN POEMS
In the times of things that indeed are upside down (see poem 'In the Feeling', these poems can help bring back the vertical adjustment, allow life to be anchored in regained certainty of idea that are real and not a guess work. Works of Ma-Ti align very well with the objective of the Why Are You Here Publications. They help us to bring back proper verticality in the upside down world of things mechanical, horizontal or vertically reversed... - THE PUBLISHER

Why Are You Here Publications is a modern publishing house promoting works that are meant to help answer the very existential questions of everyone as well as guide individuals and societies through major issues and crises of today.
It promotes authors who arrive at their creative results and also come from point of certainty, not a never-ending search.

Mathias (Ma-Ti) Gotzmann is a Jewish-American poet, philosopher & feelosopher*, counsellor, teacher/lecturer, promotor of art, publisher. Lived in Luxembourg, Poland, United Kingdom and after his social/human development work that took him to over 80 countries across the span of 15 years, has happily settled in the United States.
Throughout his life, he has embraced and practiced Modern-Orthodox Judaism, Sufism, Buddhism, Yoga, Catholicism, esoterism and mysticism.
His poetic works are inspired by daily life struggles, spiritual inspirations in the 'homeland of a human' and own path in the 'found'. Ma-Ti's idealism is palpable through use of simple ideas - though there is a inner-directed impact in this simplicity.
* term attributed to Sarah Havah Theebaum (Sargo) - historian of ideas, painter, poet.
