C est une réimpression de l ouvrage de Revel sur la coutume de la région, qui avait été publié à Mâcon en 1663 puis réédité avec des notes et des additions en 1729, qui a été augmentée dans cette édition des statuts de Savoie, extraits des Commentaires sur les statuts de Bresse de Philibert Collet, de traités de paix et d échanges extraits du Stilus regius de Pierre Granet, des deux premières parties de l importante Histoire de Bresse et Bugey de Samuel Guichenon, parue en 1650, d une notice du pays de Gex par Collet et des édits et règlements intervenus jusqu en 1775. in-folio.
