A diminutive-sized 'Revised and Enlarged New Edition' (ca 1900) of the 1894 original. Scuffing/minor damage at top and bottom of cloth spine and scuffing to corners, elsewise a clean, tight copy sans tears, stains, and discoloration with all text clear/unmarked. From Mrs. Rorer's 'How to Use a Chafing Dish' section: "The chafing dish is generally looked upon as a luxury and its use as a passing fad. With a more intimate knowledge of its capabilities, this idea wil vanish. In the one item of domestic economy - made-over dishes - its value is unquestioned, and should place it among the necessary utensils of the household." Green cloth boards with silver lettering on the front cover. 73 pages. LF3.
