These books are from the personal collection of John Chandler, former owner of Bookman?s Corner on Clark Street in Chicago for over 40 years, who passed away in February 2023. His store inventory, consisting of over 100 tons of books, was disposed of to settle his estate; however, John had a pretty extensive personal collection of around 500 books including many books of art, civil rights, and German in genre.
