The Use of Software as a Teaching and Learning Tool in Education: Quantitative and Qualitative Analysis at the Federal Institute of Minas Gerais

The main objective of this study was to conduct research to analyse the results of using educational software in the teaching-learning process and in improving the work of secondary/technical teachers at the Federal Institute of Minas Gerais, São João Evangelista campus. It aims to strengthen the theory-practice relationship and thus identify the needs of teachers for the adoption of educational software geared towards secondary/technical education. Next, it aims to verify its suitability for the content taught, to indicate the most efficient ones in the teaching-learning process, and finally, to discuss the results of the use of educational software.
