About the Author

Aidan Macfarlane is Director of the National Adolescent and Student Health Unit based in Oxford, and a Consultant in Public Health Medicine. His books include (with Ann McPherson) The New Diary of a Teenage Health Freak; The Diary of the Other Health Freak; and Fresher Pressure. Magnus Macfarlane has written a thesis on `The Culture of the Rave Scene' and is currently a researcher. Phil Robson is a Consultant Psychiatrist at Oxford University, and has developed a service for drug users in Oxford.
