Synopsis

The purpose of the book is to present a reasonably comprehensive account of sampling theory as it has been developed by the use of auxiliary information in sample surveys with standard illustrations to show how the theory is applied in practice. This link is essential to study estimators under two stage and two phase sampling using auxiliary information. Then generalised class of estimators are constructed under both multistage and multiphase sampling using more than two auxiliary variables. Besides this, my work based on estimating parameters with the presence of non-sampling errors.
