Shaun McNiff, University Professor Emeritus at Lesley University, Cambridge, Massachusetts, has advanced art-based research since the early 1970s. He is the recipient of numerous honors and awards, including the Lifetime Achievement Award of the Journal of Applied Arts & Health.
