The wide ranging possibilities of TurboCAD are shown, so that the reader can evaluate for themselves whether the supplied tools meet their own requirements. All commands, tools, and procedures presented in this book refer to the TurboCAD 2022 Pro Platinum version. However, many of the commands shown are already included in previous software versions.

About the Author

Matthias Bosse hat eine Ausbildung zum Technischen Zeichner im Bereich Heizungs-, Klima- und Sanitärtechnik absolviert, sowie ein Bachelor- und Masterstudium an der Technischen Hochschule Köln (ehemalig Fachhochschule) im Studiengang Verfahrens- und Versorgungstechnik abgeschlossen. Während der Ausbildung und im darauffolgenden beruflichen Werdegang hat er Erfahrungen mit verschiedener CAD-Software gesammelt (u.a. SolidWorks(R), AutoCAD(R), MagiCAD(R), MicroStation(R)) und die jeweiligen Arbeits-weisen und Programmaufmachungen kennengelernt. Als Maschinen-bauingenieur im Bereich Schiffbau in Hamburg kam er mit der Software TurboCAD(R) in Kontakt. Durch Schulungen, die Betreuung der CAD-Anwender im Unternehmen als Key-User und die tägliche, intensive Nutzung wurde schnell Expertenwissen aufgebaut. Aktuell arbeitet er als selbstständiger Konstruktionsingenieur unter dem Namen CryoCAD Consulting & Engineering (www.cryocad.com). Neben Konstruktionsdienstleistungen bietet er ebenfalls TurboCAD(R)-Schulungen im Bereich 2D und 3D an.
