VIPER 8 - The Pit Of Hell: An Elite "Black" Operations Squad

VIPER 8 - The Pit of Hell Dead bodies are turning up on the Southern Coast of Britain, either mutilated or with gunshot wounds. The Commanders of Viper are ordered by the British Prime Minister to immediately investigate. Viper quickly becomes embroiled in the deep and dark underworld of human trafficking of migrants, or so they think. What they rapidly discover has a very nasty sting in the tail, not just for Britain but for Europe. Alarming and terrifying is an understatement of what is uncovered. Viper and Viper B properly come together; now both Squads are on the hunt. But can they actually stop the catastrophic plans and events? VIPER is a secret Elite ‘Black’ Operations squad, formed in Margaret Thatcher’s era following the Iranian Siege in London and continues to this day. A closely guarded British secret, handed down from one Prime Minister to the next. Operations are sanctioned only by the current serving British PM, through Charles Baker the commander of Viper. This is David’s 8th book in the ‘Viper’ series, and he is currently working on Viper 9. The Viper books have been described in reviews as: Thrilling, action driven, clandestine operations at its best, up there with Vince Flynn, Lee Child and Robert Ludlum.

David Baker was born in Scotland due to his father serving in the Royal Air Force. After his schooling in the UK, he served an Apprenticeship in engineering, electronics and statistical analysis. He joined a British Police Force in 1982. He was injured in the line of duty and is now retired.
