9 x 12" trifold brochure that folds to about the size of a business envelope printed both sides in black and white and color. Illustrated with ten black and white photos and one black and white map [showing the Alaska Airlines route to Nome] interspersed with narrative descriptions of the historic Bearing Sea gold camp, Nome Today, organizations, a visit to Eskimoland, weather, nearby Nome, and the like. . Just hints of wear to extremities, corners square and flat, colors bright, no separations at the folds, else fine with no internal markings. Date determined from the contents which says that the population was 2,500--the population was 2,316 in 1960. A relatively rare piece of Alaska and Alaska Airlines ephemera.
