It documents a voyage circumnavigated to Europe & Asia, travelling through the polar regions of Siberia & N. Europe. * The voyage visited many port in Asia. With details of every stop, Siberian islands, frozen in the passage through the Behring Straits, arrival at Nunamo, down to Japan. Arrival at Yokohama, meetings with Japanese marine ministers, Kawamura, Prince Kito-Shira-Kava. * JAPAN: Audience of the Mikado. Of Japanese manners & customs, Imperial gardens, excursion to Asamayama, Nakasendo, Takasaki, baths at Ikaho, massage, hot springs. Voyage to Kobe, purchase of Japanese books, rail to Kyoto, of temples, Japanese swords. On to Nagasaki & Mogi. * CHINA, S.E. ASIA To China, Hong Kong, Canon, excursions.
