This book provides an unprecedented material whereby it demonstrates that the use and practice of the markings in the eye are reliable enough to be implemented in clinical practice. Dr. Fernandez’s integration of two approaches to health is evident in this book’s pages and it serves as an example to all to reach beyond our self-imposed and cultural limitations and embrace the wholeness that is the multi-dimensional human being. Iridology and Sclerology have been popular modalities amongst the public and complementary medicine practitioners alike. However, to date there has not been an integrative study carried out to demonstrate their effectiveness in clinical practice. Eight case studies comprising females and males of varied age groups, their presenting signs and symptoms as well as their family history have been examined under the parameters of digital Integrated Iridology® and Sclerology. The signs in the sclera and iris have been compared to ancillary methods of assessments namely blood tests, urine and saliva analyses of pH levels and heavy metals, Hair Tissue Mineral Analysis (HTMA) and dermatron testing. The use and practice of the markings in the eye provides a novel and significantly different approach to previous studies which typically implement a treatment protocol. Andrea Fernandez N.D. reveals how these two reflexive arts, Iridology and Sclerology, combine with two sciences, laboratory tests and clinical observations, to form a gestalt or unified wholeness that reveals precisely what health practitioners must understand about a patient -- the hidden cause of symptom expressions. Only by addressing the deepest disturbance to the patient’s vitality, can a practitioner assist the body in restoring the most optimal health possible. This quest to understand the cause and find the point of leverage to restore health often leads the practitioner to seek the validation where the parts tell the story of the whole. And by this method, the body’s truth is brought to light. Here, in Validations, join Dr. Fernandez in unraveling the secret code of the body’s mysteries and discover how every modality is likewise, a quest for truth.
