Valkyrie Lost (Valkyries Rising)

I prayed to a god to rescue my family. I didn’t expect him to stick around, or for him to make me feel things I shouldn’t.

As a cursed völva—a Norse witch—I have learned to not ask for more than I am afforded. But when my family is falsely accused of an injustice, I had to pray to Týr for help. The last thing I expected was him to answer, or for him to return over and over because of me.

I shouldn’t think anything of it. I am but a mortal woman, cursed to only feel the ache of a yearning heart. And yearn I do.

From shared drinking horns to unforgettable nights, I foolishly believe my curse is finally broken. But when trouble amongst the gods stirs, I may just pay the ultimate price for my transgressions.

And the price for spilling the blood of his Valkyrie is one too steep for any god.

Valkyrie Lost is perfect for fans of fated-yet-forbidden romances, reimagined Norse mythology, and stories such as A Fate Inked in Blood and Twilight of the Gods. It is book 1 of Astrid’s slow-build, the-men-fall-first saga that spans both the Viking Age and Modern Age. Her other two books are Valkyrie Renewed and Valkyrie Freed.

Astrid’s story is part of the Valkyries Rising series. Tales where the heroine doesn’t have to pick just one mate. In these pages, you’ll find strong heroines who don’t back down, and the shifters, gods, dragons, and other immortals who love them and fight by their sides.
