It’s better to be truthful, it’s much more kind

If I’m truthful to start with it’s better by far

People will respect me, they’ll know who to trust
I will like myself better as I know I must.

The natural world speaks of beauty and rhyme
It sounds like a chorus of breezes and chimes.
The animals call back to you and to me
They love to surround us with life that feels free.
They like to live life by their own ways and means
And we should respect them to be what they seem.

It’s sad to see them being hurt or called names
They are not robots and should not take the blame
For mistakes humans make by using them wrong.
They are creatures like us who just want to stay strong.
They are here for a purpose, not just for our use
To be loved, sometimes eaten, but not be abused.
