It’s no longer about how workers must adapt to their employers, but how companies must change and adapt to the new work world
Partnership. Balance. Synergy. Community.
These are the values shaping the new ethic that is changing the workforce. This transformation cuts across generations and strikes every level of the business hierarchy. An understanding of today’s "new worker" is essential for business leaders to attract and keep the very best employees.
Values Shift defines how and why our work ethic is changing, illustrates new work trends, and prescribes solutions for adapting to change and for inspiring employees to stay committed. It includes easy-to-read charts, lists, and sidebars, as well as examples of how some North American companies have successfully adapted to the shift.
Values Shift will help you:
- understand demographic differences
- identify trends that are changing the face of work
- attract, inspire, and keep talented employees
"Values Shift is an important book. The world of business will benefit from its practical truths for many years to come."
