Candy J. Beard was born in Danville, Illinois and raised in Indiana. She has been happily married to Mark for twenty-one years. They are the proud parents of Daniel and Christopher. She is the Author of four books for children, six novels, and eight screenplays. She and her family reside in Clinton, Indiana.
