M. Dent vignette to front cover, black topstain and fancy Knowles woodcut art at title page & frontis. Lacks the dust jacket. --- With acidic staining to front and rear endpapers, prior owner's discreet rubberstamping and pencilings to a few leaves, and small soiled spot to textblock fore-edge, else a clean, tightly bound copy.; 16mo (6 to 7 in. tall); xv, 699 pages.
