About the Author

Jack Harris is an Illustrator, Graphic Designer, Educator, and Author. In addition to 38 years of commercial work including children's book illustration, editorial, and advertising illustration and design, he has also written for trade publications and educational journals. He has been recognized by Graphis, Communications Arts, Print, and How magazine for excellence in illustration and design. An alumnus of Virginia Commonwealth University, Syracuse University, and Hartford Art School, he now teaches at Farmingdale State College in Farmingdale, NewYork, mentoring young designers. Harris is the co-author and illustrator of Vector Graphics and Illustration: A Master Class in Digital Image-Making.
