Titus Nelson, writer, professional engineer, and research analyst, has authored several publications including Brahe Church: The Count’s Treasury, a photo history of the ancient 1635 Brahe Church on Visingsö Island in southern Sweden. The book is written in both English and Swedish. Extensive research over eight years led to Nelson’s new book, Las Vegas Insiders Guide, an in-depth tourist guide to everything you need to know to save money, keep safe, get around, and survive in Las Vegas. His is currently writing a book about underground nuclear testing in the Aleutian Islands. In the early 1970s he was part of a team that mined a huge chamber 6,000 feet under Amchitka Island for the detonation of a massive nuclear warhead—one of the most dangerous and controversial nuclear tests every conducted. Nelson has a degree from California Polytechnic State University in San Luis Obispo, California, and retains the title of Registered Professional Engineer in California. He is retired from professional engineering in Alaska, Colorado, Oregon, Washington, and British Columbia, Canada. Titus lives with his wife near Las Vegas, Nevada.
