Book is squareand securely bound. ; B&W Drawings; 8vo 8" - 9" tall; 275 pages; Interesting book that takes up vegetables alphabetically and sicusses both how to grow and how to cook. This copy has some interest because it came from the library of University of Georgia horticulturalist Hubert B. Owens whose ownership signature is on the front pastedown. Owens started the University's School of Landscape Design. A major scholarship in horticulture is still named for him.
