Vehicular Networks

With the forthcoming enforcement of installing wireless units for Dedicated Short Range Communications (DSRC) on newly manufactured light-duty vehicles in the US, the development of the Cellular V2X (C-V2X) standard in 3GPP, and the growing interest in connected autonomous vehicles, vehicle-to-everything (V2X) communications and vehicular networking for improving road safety, enhancing traffic efficiency, and supporting heterogeneous vehicular applications for smart mobility is foreseeable in the near future.
