The Veil of Forgotten Gods: The Veilbound Chronicles

The Veil of Forgotten Gods

Book One of The Veilbound Chronicles

What if the gods didn’t disappear…
What if they were forgotten on purpose?

Arin has always been invisible.
At school. At home. In the world.

Until the day he steps into a place no one remembers exists.

Behind ordinary streets lies a hidden city—one built to keep reality stable. Ancient gods survive there, fading slowly as belief disappears. A silent system called the Veil decides what must be forgotten to protect the world.

And Arin was never meant to see it.

When he accidentally becomes bound to a fading god, Arin learns the truth:
magic doesn’t grant power—it takes something in return.

Memories slip. Familiar paths vanish. Even “normal” begins to feel dangerous.

As Arin struggles to survive the rules no one explains, he discovers he isn’t the only one like this. Other Anchors exist—and some of them are willing to break the laws that hold the world together.

When Arin makes one impossible choice to save a life, the system reacts.

Seals begin to fail.
The hidden city starts watching.
And the Veil prepares for something it was never designed to face.

Choice.

The Veil of Forgotten Gods is a myth-inspired fantasy about hidden worlds, forgotten gods, and the cost of being noticed—perfect for readers who love thoughtful magic, slow-burn tension, and stories where every decision matters.
