Veiled Marks (Counterpart)

In the Equilibrium Dominion, every marked child is bound to a counterpart for life. Survival depends on the strength of that bond. Balance is law. Deviation is death.

Angelina Teare has spent eighteen years believing her sigil is only a weak water drop. She has hidden her doubts, her loneliness, and the dreams that burn through her at night. When she arrives at Sanctum Equilibria, she expects to fight for a place she was never meant to have. Instead she is bonded to Luke, whose power feels immediate, fierce, and far too strong.

Thrown into Squad Seven, Angie trains, bleeds and begins to belong. The squad becomes a found family. The bond becomes something the academy will not forgive if it sees the whole of it. And the more she learns to use the power waking in her, the more she understands that her parents, the Council, and the history of the Purge are not what she was taught.

Family secrets surface. Rifts open. A rival watches too closely. Angie must decide how much of the truth she is willing to drag into the light - before it destroys everyone she has come to love.

Veiled Marks is Book One of The Counterpart Series: a dark romantasy of sacred bonds, buried power, brutal academy trials, and a love that may be the most dangerous thing Angie Teare has ever been given.

In a place where imbalance means death, some bonds are forged in fate. Others are forged in lies.
