Item description from seller

Octavo, illustrated wraps, b&w illus, pp 132. A water stain to the top edges of the text block has extended slightly into the margin although not into the text. Wraps rubbed, with small hole near top edge. Good condition. Venture Science Fiction was an American digest-size science fiction magazine, first published from 1957 to 1958, and revived for a brief run in 1969 and 1970. It published some well-known writers, and SF historian Mike Ashley has suggested that the magazine was ahead of its time. This issue includes: a complete novel, "The League of Grey-Eyed Womeb", by Julius Fast; four short stories, by Edward Wellen ("With Ah! Bright Wings"), Dean R. Koontz ("A Dragon in the Land"), Larry Eisenberg ("Project Amnion"), Robert F. Young ("Pithecanthopus Australis"), an article on film adaptations of Ray Bradbury's work, and more.
