"This is actually more than one manuscript - it's two; one complete, the other apparently complete but lacking the title page. Both are by the same person. A delightful little story with illustrations on about every page. It measures about 6" x 4" and has a stitched binding, 22 pages (11 leaves), some sides blank, ten illustrations, three of which are full page. The paper is age toned and a little spotted, modern name and address stamp on verso of final page there is a rear free endpaper, marbled,but no front free endpaper. The one without a separate title page is certainly by the same author/artist and has a thin leather cover with a newer black spine. the pages are actually a bit larger than the covers and are about 6.75" x 4.25". There is no title page but the story may be complete. 14 pages (7 leaves) a couple of sides blank, seven illustrations. Old blue card covers, stitched; second in thin leather cover, new spine 11 leaves (22 pp.), 10 illustrations, 3 full pages; With a second manuscript by the same author, 7 leaves (14 pp.) with 7 illustrations. 2 vols. 6 x 4 inches.
