She lives in Birmingham, Alabama, where she loves to hike and play outside with her husband, two young daughters, and senior citizen hound dog.

Steele Thomas Marcoux is the editor of Veranda and a veteran of the design publishing industry, having served in senior editorial roles at Country Living, Coastal Living, and Southern Living.
