About the Author

Univ.-Prof. em. Dr.-Ing. Rolf Kindmann war von 1990 bis 2013 Ordinarius f�r Stahl- und Verbundbau an der Ruhr-Universit�t Bochum. Er ist Mitbegr�nder der Ingenieursoziet�t SKP, Dortmund und Pr�fingenieur f�r Baustatik in den Fachrichtungen Massivbau und Metallbau.
Prof. Dr.-Ing. Michael Stracke lehrt Stahlbau an der FH Dortmund.
Die Autoren besitzen, neben besonderen didaktischen F�higkeiten zur Aufbereitung der Problematik, aus ihrer T�tigkeit als Beratende Ingenieure eine genaue Kenntnis der Anforderungen an Detailwissen in der Praxis.
