Incisore e venditore di stampe. Collabor� con Adam P�relle con il quale si specializz� in rappresentazioni topografiche, in particolare di vedute europee e citt� africane. Si specializz� nel mischiare l'incisione in rame e bulino. A partire dal 1685 ottenne la licenza imperiale di 10 anni che lo autorizzava nella riproduzione del: 'le profil des maisons royales'.
