16mo.,viii(1)226pp. Beautiful Early Edition bound by famed bookbinder Francis Bedford of London, (signed on verso of front end-paper), in full tan calf with double gilt-ruled borders, gilt dentelles on turn-ins, raised bands on spine with gilt-decorated compartments and title in gilt upon a brown leather label in 2nd compartment. a.e.g., Marbled end-papers. Additional illustrated title page which is replicated through with alternate illustrations for each. Square, tight and clean throughout with little or no toning or foxing. Mild wear to spine ends, edges and tips. Gilt rubbed away in large measure on the lower three spine compartments. A gorgeous collectable copy and a fairly uncommon edition. Seller Inventory # 010664
