A handful of people can be seen on the fore-shore. A single track leads towards a Windmill located close to the water's edge. an assembly of sailing ships can be observed in the Estuary and at sea. In the distance on the opposite side of the river just visible are Dawlish Warren, Powderham, Starcross the latter consist of just a handful of cottages. Somers Cocks, 1054.
