Xiao Chen Bang's near-death experience propels her into a radiant world where she becomes a Dakini, a guide for the departed. Tasked with helping souls transition, she journeys through the most profound moments of life-birth, death, and everything in between. From catastrophic disasters to intimate human stories, Xiao's missions reveal the fragility and beauty of existence. Along the way, she confronts her own pain and redemption, culminating in an encounter with a sentient force as old as the Earth itself. A powerful meditation on life's meaning, A View from a Height invites readers to look at the world, and themselves, from a whole new perspective. A tale of karma, reincarnation and redemption, here is a love story. But not the usual kind of love story; this is about the kind of love that can send the world spinning in new directions without the world even knowing it was done. A discovered manuscript tells of a life that bridges the spirit world and the physical world, and of the young woman who attempts to repair the rift between them. This is a fantastic adventure that takes place in the real world of today. It is a tale of the undercurrents of existence of which most of us are totally unaware, and how the growing awareness of the reality behind reality can profoundly change an individual. This book includes "The Dakini" and "The Bodhisattva", complete in one volume. This item is printed on demand.
