A booklet in a horizontal format that provides a detailed look at the Battle of Gettysburg during the American Civil War. A series of full-page maps, accompanied on the facing page with detailed descriptions and b/w illustrations, on the major actions that transpired during the battle that took place from July 1-3, 1863, a turning point in the war. Includes b/w photos of the generals and leaders of the Union and the Confederate Armies, plus the text of Lincoln's famous Gettysburg Address given when the battlefield was dedicated as a cemetery in 1863 for the Union soldiers killed in the battle. Measures 10.75" x 8.25" with 24 pages. No date is evident, but probably circa 1960. In excellent condition with no marks of any kind.
