About the Author

Morris West, an Australian by birth, has lived in Italy, Austria, England, and the east and west coasts of the United States. He was awarded the National Brotherhood Award by the National Council of Christians and Jews, the James Tait Black Memorial Prize, and the Royal Society of Literature Heinemann Award.
