Views of Jerusalem

This is the paperback edition of the highly acclaimed, Views of Jerusalem, now published for the first time in full-color. Following the same format as the popular Views of Rome, this book is both an historical document as well as a collection of breathtaking photographs. The prominent holy sites of the Jewish, Islamic, and Christian worlds are represented–including the Wailing Wall, the Damascus Gate, the Ecce Homo Arch on the Via Dolorosa, the Dome of the Rock, the Church of St. John the Baptist in Samaria, the tomb of the Virgin Mary, and the room of the Last Supper, and more.

The current media focus on the region makes this area more important than ever. As history continues to be made in Jerusalem, more and more people seek knowledge of the Middle East. The book's manageable paperback format makes it a very appealing gift book for the traveler to the region, for students, and for those with a general interest in the history and sights of Jerusalem and the Holy Land.
