1928. No Edition Remarks. 76 pages. No dust jacket. Decorated blue cloth. Dedicated message to front endpaper, 'with compliments and every good wish from the author' dated 1936 - not signed. Contains colour illustrated plates, with some fold-out plates. Pages and plates are lightly tanned and foxed throughout. Some rubbed dark marks and creasing to front endpaper. Light thumb-marking present. Binding remains firm. Boards have moderate edge wear with bumping to corners and rubbing to surfaces. Crushing to spine ends with small splits and fraying to cloth.Light tanning to spine and edges. Bleach staining along edge of rear board. Seller Inventory # 1658394487ADA

Hardcover. Condition: Very Good. No Jacket. 1st Edition. First Trade Edition (there was also a deluxe leather-bound issue). Large 4to. 76pp + xxv plates. Blue decorated cloth lettered and ruled in gold at the spine and upper board. With a colour frontispiece and many plates, mostly in colour and several fold-out. Cloth rubbed and a little worn at the head and base of the backstrip. Endpapers lightly browned and with some minor spotting, mostly to preliminary leaf margins. A very bright copy.
