About this title

Synopsis

The Da Vinci Code, soon to be a major motion picture, continues to fascinate both conspiracy theorists and regular people the world over. Author Robin Griffith-Jones, the Master of the Temple, lives at the hub of this excitement.

As Master of the Temple Church in London, one of the main sites of the book and the historic spiritual home of the Knights Templar, Griffith-Jones has given hundreds of talks to the throngs of tourists following the “Da Vinci trail.” An expert on the Knights Templar as well as a biblical scholar, he has distilled his research into this first-rate treatment. The Da Vinci Code and the Secrets of the Temple covers all the main elements of Dan Brown’s book — the Priory of Sion, Opus Dei, the Knights Templar, Leonardo’s Last Supper, Mary Magdalene, and more. Griffith-Jones discusses Brown’s understanding of history and Christianity, exploring how much of his version is true, how much is plausible, and how much is fanciful.

A literate insider’s introduction, The Da Vinci Code and the Secrets of the Temple is perfect for anyone looking to unlock the ancient secrets of Dan Brown’s runaway best-seller.
