History is wrong. For centuries, the legendary Carthaginian general has lived in the shadows, watching empires rise and fall while carrying the memory of a war Rome believed it had finished. Others may be connected to the past in ways even Hannibal does not fully understand. And someone has been waiting a very long time for revenge.Moving between the ancient Mediterranean and contemporary Houston, Vindictus blends historical fiction, conspiracy, action, and suspense into a story about the long memory of vengeance-and what happens when the unfinished business of history finally comes due.The past never dies.
