Vinnie: The Autobiography

A back-street boy from a broken home, a hod-carrier who became captain of Wales, a loving husband who has experienced much lonliness and many more tears, the countryman who became a huge film star, Vinne Jones has never been a one-dimensional character. At last the chance has come for him to tell his story and hit back at his critics. A player like no other, Vinnie's autobiography is like the man himself: open, honest and without fear.

Vinnie Jones was born in Walford in January 1965, and grew up in the Hertfordshire countryside. After a brief spell with Wealdstone, he was given his chance in League football, signing professional terms for Wimbledon and making his League debut in 1986. He went on to gain an FA Cup winner's medal in 1988. He went on to play for Leeds United, Sheffield United, Chelsea and Queens Park Rangers. He won nine caps for Wales.
