This is an excellent set of knowledge. The Great Books Discussion Program, Set Three. Featuring eight volumes in a matching slip cover. Books are textured softcover books. All titles in which the volumes are comprised are seen in the fourth photo. Authors consist of Freud, Dostoyevsky, Mann, Aeschylus, Thucydides, Aristophanes, Aquinas, Rousseau, Kant, Voltaire, Aristotle, Shakespeare, The Book of Job (Bible), Gibbon, Nietzsche, and Shaw. For those that wish to study and explore some of the greatest minds and stories in antiquity, this set is certainly a good start and a wonderful collection. Set in excellent condition overall with the slip cover having some light wear, especially to the edges of the opening. Books with only minor wear. Some Volumes having either pencil or blue pen underlining and notes to some entries. All pages are tightly bound. This is quite a resourceful set. If you managed to read each volume, you will walk away with an education. Excellent for those of us you have a liking to the Classics and texts of antiquity.
