Original mono 33 1/3 rpm vinyl compilation of earlier recordings. Two records. Owner name on the label of side one and side three, and a few faint scratches throughout, side 4 with two slightly worse scratches, though overall appears very good or better, in a good gatefold illustrated cardboard sleeve with owner name on the front and back, rubbing, edgewear, and a dampstain at the bottom of the inside where the sleeve folds, affecting one of the inner paper sleeves but not affecting the record. "This is the second of five two-record sets, comprising Bessie Smith's legacy of 160 selections . . . this album contains Miss Smith's second sixteen and next-to-last sixteen recordings" (from the inside sleeve).
