This is a Good Only Copy of this Book in contemporary full vellum with title page lettering in red and black.One former owner's bookplate to the front of the book loosely laid in of L bosanquet.Some slight weakness to the hinge gutter join but contents are holding firmly.Fraying and wear to the edges of the first few blanl leaves.Contents internally are ok but with some thumbing and foxing apparent to then text block,there are a few small nicks and tears to several pages of text to outer edges or rather page margins.Some engraved headpieces present to Chapter headings.The work is a collection of numerous passages in Virgil and of the Greek poets, including Homer.8vo (LXXX) 556pp plus Carmen Homeri 163pp (1) Index 8vo This title came from an impressive and varied private collection of Richard Bolt a Former Barrister and Lay Preacher from Newton in Bowland Lancashire.
