The Virginia Gun Owner's Guide - 8th Edition

Who can bear arms? Where are guns forbidden? When can you shoot? If you own a gun you need this book. If you want to know what you can and can't do with guns in Virginia, this is the book to own. Since 1995 we have been publishing the guide Virginians use for all the details on the state's gun laws. The new 8th edition is now available for immediate delivery and includes the 2013 Virginia legislature changes. You get a copy of all the gun laws word-for-word, but more important, everything is described in plain English. The descriptions are cross-referenced to the laws. Updates on our website are free. The authors take the mystery out of the Virginia carry-permit law, the NICS background check, the self-defense laws, buying, keeping and using guns, and they turn the legal mumbo jumbo into clear familiar English. Find out the who, what, when, where, why and how of firearms purchase, ownership, carry and use in Virginia. "It doesn't make sense to own a gun and not know the rules."

Alan Korwin wrote his first book, The Arizona Gun Owner s Guide, in 1989. It is now in its 23rd edition with more than 100,000 copies in print. He went on to write or co-write seven more books on gun laws, including state guides for California, Florida, Texas and Virginia, the unabridged federal guide Gun Laws of America, and his 11th, which debuted at the 2008 Gun Rights Policy Conference, The Heller Case: Gun Rights Affirmed!

With his wife Cheryl he operates Bloomfield Press, which has grown into the largest publisher and distributor of gun-law books in America. His website, gunlaws.com, features a free National Directory to every gun law in the country and more than 180 books and DVDs for gun owners and the freedom movement. Alan s blog, PageNine.org, is carried by scores of paper and online outlets, and rumors about his political parody band, The Cartridge Family, cannot be confirmed.
