Item description from seller

[0-15-693580-5] 1972. (Mass market paperback) Very good. xvii, [2], 216; 314pp. 8vo. Biography. Two volumes in one. The first covers from Woolf's birth to her courtship with Leonard Woolf and the second, the details of her life with Leonard Woolf, her breakdown (1912 - 1915), the emergence and growth of The Hogarth Press, as well as Virginia's development into the established, respected writer she became. Page 15 of Volume II shows a patch of stain; the text is still easily read. Starting about midpoint through the pages of photographs which are unnumbered. There is a crease to the last page, a blank. Remains an excellent reading copy.

Store description

Established in 1970. We specialize in Prairie Canadiana (Manitoba, Saskatchewan, and Alberta), Travel & Exploration, The North, and Aboriginal Peoples ("North American Indian"). Although these areas comprise the main sections in the store, they are by no means our only focus! We boast an impressive Literature section, a vast array of Art Books and Gallery Catalogues, a respectable offering of Science & Medicine titles, and drool-worthy cabinets of antiquarian tomes (of course). A member of the Antiquarian Booksellers Association of Canada (ABAC), the International League of Antiquarian Booksellers (ILAB), and the National Archival Appraisal Board of Canada (NAAB). We do appraisals, for insurance purposes, institutional, or otherwise. Open by chance or appointment. Feel free to call or email!…
